Membership Level

There are three levels of membership, and members can enjoy the services in corresponding to your level of membership

(1) Ordinary Member

Enterprises or companies which has achieved the forest certification timber legality verification or due diligence system for timber legality are eligible for ordinary member. Ordinary member need to commit to and implement the their responsible forest production, trade, and investment.

(2) Registered Member

Any ordinary members which establish due diligence system for timber legality and submits responding evidences are eligible for registered member. Registered member are required to give commitment fulfillment declaration, business license, certificate, supply chain information and other documents/evidences to pass the verification of China RFA.

(3) Executive Member

Any registered members could apply for executive member, as one member pf council of China FRA, which is the supreme authority for the management of China FRA.

Note: Any enterprises which are not eligible for the RFA member could subscribe as a junior member, which could apply for regular member, registered member, and executive member with the support of membership manager of China FRA.

Member’s Rights

(1) Ordinary Member

They are granted with basic member rights, including

Updating and uploading their products and company details into the the database of China RFA, thus exposed to the product/enterprise information query from other member and non-members, with some limitation.

Having rights to reach the downloadable guidance and toolkits in terms of timber legality and sustainability collected or developed by China RFA.

Opportunity to be invited to participate in the events and capacity building activities organized by China RFA or related partners.

Opportunity to communicate with policy-makers and offer them policy recommendations concerning the problem/challenges faced by this industry.

(2) Registered Member

They are offered with the more member rights including

Granted with a exclusive member number, a certificate, and the right to use the logo of China RFA.

Updating and uploading their products and company details into the the database of China RFA, thus exposed to the product/enterprise information query from other member and non-members, with no limitation.

Priority right to be promoted for its products on the website of China RFA and to release the enterprise’s news and supply-demand news.

Having rights to reach the downloadable guidance and toolkits in terms of timber legality and sustainability collected or developed by China RFA.

Right to search for the low-risk materials and suppliers.

Enjoyable right to be more accessed to domestic and international market, and to recommend forest products from responsible enterprise for downstream customers.

Opportunity to communicate with policy-makers and offer them policy recommendations concerning the problem/challenges faced by this industry.

Priority right to enjoy customized service and support from China RFA at a competitive price.

(3) Executive Member

They enjoy the three more rights than registered member, including:

Right to participate in the management of China RFA.

Longer time to showcase their products and enterprise on the homepage of our website.

Priority status for member/product promotion, awards and domestic/overseas market linkage.

Member’s Obligations

To ensure the integrity, credible and smooth operation of China RFA, members are required to fulfill the following obligations:

Compliance with the laws and regulations, and committed to be engage in the trade and investment of responsible forest products.

Filling truthfully and uploading the enterprise/product(s) information form, and upgrading the information periodically or in real time when the enterprise and products have any changes.

Registered member and executive member are required to provide certification evidences/documents, which include business license and legality ensurance evidences.

Registered member and executive member are required to submit annual report, and accept the audit and supervision of China RFA.

Cooperation with the Secretariat of China RFA for events, surveys, investigations, policy support, and other activities.

Registered member and executive member should pay annual membership dues. on time.
